Data Deletion Instructions

How users can request deletion of account data and connected social account data from TaskNetwork.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

TaskNetwork supports deletion requests for account data and connected social account data. This page explains how to request deletion and what happens after the request is received.

If you connected TaskNetwork to a third-party platform such as Facebook, Instagram, Telegram, Discord, or YouTube, you can also revoke TaskNetwork access from that provider account directly.

How to request deletion

Send a deletion request to privacy@tasknetwork.io from the email address associated with your TaskNetwork account, if available. Use the subject line "TaskNetwork data deletion request".

Include enough information for us to find the account, such as your TaskNetwork account email or phone number and the social provider you want disconnected. Do not send passwords, private keys, full payment secrets, or unnecessary identity documents.

What we delete or disconnect

After verifying the request, TaskNetwork will delete or anonymize account information where deletion is technically and legally available, disconnect social account tokens and identifiers where supported, and remove personal proof materials that no longer need to be retained.

  • Connected social account tokens and provider identifiers.
  • Profile details returned by social providers when no longer needed.
  • User-submitted proof files or links when they are not required for fraud, dispute, accounting, or legal records.
  • Account contact details when the account is closed and retention is no longer required.

Information we may retain

TaskNetwork may retain limited records when needed for fraud prevention, marketplace integrity, tax or accounting obligations, payment reconciliation, security investigations, dispute handling, legal compliance, or to prevent repeat abuse.

Retained records are limited to what is needed for those purposes and may include audit events, payout records, transaction references, campaign participation records, and fraud-prevention decisions.

Provider-side deletion

TaskNetwork can delete or disconnect data stored by TaskNetwork. To remove data stored by a third-party provider, use that provider account settings page to revoke TaskNetwork access or delete provider-side data according to that provider policy.

Timing

We aim to respond to deletion requests within 30 days. Complex requests, fraud investigations, payment disputes, or legal requirements may require more time.

Questions about these policies can be sent to privacy@tasknetwork.io.
