Privacy Policy

How TaskNetwork handles account, campaign, proof, wallet, and social connection information.

Last updated: June 18, 2026

TaskNetwork is a task marketplace where users can earn rewards for completing verified social actions. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how users can ask us to delete it.

This page is written for users, campaign customers, social platform reviewers, and anyone evaluating how TaskNetwork handles data.

Information we collect

We collect information needed to operate accounts, verify tasks, prevent abuse, and pay rewards.

  • Account information such as phone number, email address, password hash, role, invite status, and session metadata.
  • Campaign and claim information such as selected tasks, proof submissions, review status, timestamps, reward amounts, and campaign owner details.
  • Proof materials submitted by users, including screenshots, links, tracking codes, quiz answers, and related review notes.
  • Connected social account identifiers and profile details returned by platforms such as Telegram, Discord, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram after a user authorizes a connection.
  • Wallet information needed for payouts, such as public wallet addresses and transaction references. We do not ask for wallet private keys.
  • Operational security information such as IP-derived request metadata, audit logs, rate-limit signals, anti-fraud decisions, and error categories.

How we use information

We use information to provide the TaskNetwork service, verify that tasks were completed, protect the marketplace from fraud, and support reward payments.

  • Authenticate users and keep accounts secure.
  • Connect social accounts when a user chooses to do so.
  • Verify proof submissions and decide whether campaign requirements were met.
  • Calculate balances, process withdrawals, and keep payment records.
  • Detect abuse, duplicate submissions, automated behavior, and violations of campaign rules.
  • Respond to support, privacy, safety, and compliance requests.

Social platform data

When a user connects a social account, TaskNetwork requests only the permissions needed for that provider connection and the associated campaign verification flow. Platform data is used to identify the connected account, validate eligible activity where supported, and reduce duplicate or fraudulent claims.

Users can disconnect social accounts in TaskNetwork settings where supported. They can also revoke TaskNetwork from the relevant provider account settings.

Sharing and service providers

TaskNetwork does not sell personal information. We share information only when needed to operate the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or process requested transactions.

  • Infrastructure and database providers that host the application.
  • Authentication, notification, storage, analytics, monitoring, verification, and payment-related providers used to operate the marketplace.
  • Campaign customers when needed to show campaign performance, submitted proof status, and payout/accounting information.
  • Authorities or third parties when required by law, safety obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution.

Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to operate accounts, fulfill campaign and payout obligations, protect against fraud, resolve disputes, and meet legal or accounting requirements.

Some security, audit, payout, and fraud-prevention records may be retained after account deletion when they are necessary to protect the platform, document transactions, or comply with law.

Your choices

Users may request access, correction, disconnection of social accounts, or deletion of personal information by contacting privacy@tasknetwork.io. Data deletion instructions are also available on the public data deletion page.
